STeMGirls | Girls* Only (GRADES 4-7)

Cost = $30

With guests from a variety of STEM fields, hands on experiments, and design challenges, STEMGirls is a club for girls and gender-nonconforming folks to find positive mentorship and build connections within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! Each week we’ll explore a different topic, and we love to explore the specific interests of participants!

Science Venture has an inclusive view of the word “girl”. Our “girls”-only programs welcome youth who identify has non-binary, two-spirit, trans and genderqueer in these programs.

EcoCode (grades 1-3)

Discover the unique West Coast ecosystem as it exists on the UVic campus! Through games and experiments, we will explore the campus to piece together intricate food webs, find life we’ve never noticed, and figure out how our ecosystem fits in with others! This semester we will include a dash of digital skills exploration into this club.

*EcoCODE club will take place outside rain or shine (but not snow) so come prepared with weather appropriate clothing.
