Presented by Science Venture in collaboration with UVic’s Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, and ONWIE (Ontario Network of Women in Engineering), Go ENG Girl is a national event held by Universities across Canada.  

Are you a girl* interested in Engineering?

Join us for Go ENG Girl 2025! A free annual and national event organized by Canada’s top universities, Go ENG Girl offers girls and non-binary youth in grades 8-12 the chance to learn more about engineering through a series of fun hands-on activities and exhibits. Undergraduate students, professional engineers, and professors take part in the day to share their stories of passion, inspiration and success.

What can I expect at Go ENG Girl?

  • Hands-on activities related to engineering specialties offered at UVic

  • Sample lectures from UVic faculty members

  • Attend the Faculty and Clubs Fair

  • Tours of UVic Engineering facilities & labs

Go CODE Girl 2025
A full day event for youth grades 8-12 to gain hands-on experience with different engineering concepts, compete in cross curricular design challenges, and connect with other peers and mentors! Participants will be introduced to the field of engineering, and shown them what a career in engineering can potentially look like. More details forthcoming!
