Become a Science Venture Mentor

With so many budding Scientists and Engineers taking part in our program, each summer we look to UVic and the Victoria community to find individuals who might be interested in sharing their love of STEM with our participants. There is nothing more rewarding for campers than meeting someone who is successful in the field they aspire to enter when they grow up!

STEM Mentors engage with our program in a number of ways every year. Some lead half-hour tours through their labs, others let us engage with their current projects and equipment, and some deliver exciting and engaging presentations about what they do and how that impacts youth. You could be involved once this summer, or up to eight times – it is totally up to you! The possibilities are endless and we are committed to developing an experience that works for you.
