Join the SV code squad on FriYAYs with our computer science club, designed by girls for girls! Explore the world of coding, computational thinking and computers while connecting with other coder girls! We are welcoming you back on Friday's, for another exciting season of coding fun in-person!

STEMGirls is a club for girls and gender-nonconforming folks to find positive mentorship and build a strong peer group while exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! Participants will explore the impacts women such as Marie Curie, Ada Lovelace, and Katherine Johnson have made in STEM, and explore the concepts they developed with hands-on experiments!

  • Grades 4-7

Science Venture has an inclusive view of the word “girl”. Our “girls”-only programs welcome youth who identify has non-binary, two-spirit, trans and genderqueer in these programs.  

Science Venture is a network member organization of Actua.  Actua provides training, resources and support to its national network of members located at universities and colleges across Canada in the delivery of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education outreach programming.
